On May 16, Alberto Contador climbed the Tourmalet as a part of a promotional by his sponsor, FLEX. The day’s ride covered the route of the queen stage of the 2010 Tour, from Pau to the summit of the mountain. Contador rode the grueling parcours alone. May 16, 2012 (AC press room)
